SWANSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) -The Onslow County Water and Sewer Authority issues a water disruption warning to customers in the Swansboro area.

ONWASA tells 9 On Your Side contractors are installing new sewer service at the intersection of Old Hammocks Beach Road and Highway 24. The construction is scheduled to take place Wednesday from 7p.m. through July 16th at 6a.m.

Water authority officials say water service interruptions aren’t expected; but say it is possible for customers in the Town of Swansboro between the old Stevenson Chevrolet to the Onslow/Carteret county line.

If an outage should occur, the ONWASA website will be updated with the necessary information including boil water advisories. The information will be sent to those who are affected.
