UPDATE: Arrest made in Greenville home invasion, armed robbery

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville Police make an arrest in a home invasion from early last week in Greenville.

26-year-old Bobby Harrington is arrested and charged in connection to the home invasion and armed robbery at Pirates Place Apartment Complex.

Police it happened around 12:15 a.m. Monday, July 13, at an apartment at Pirates Place, located on S. Charles Blvd.

The two victims in the apartment say that two men knocked on their door.  When they answered the suspects showed handguns and entered the apartment before stealing jewelry, an Xbox gaming console and other electronics.  The two men then got away.

Harrington is currently at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond.

Greenville Police say Harrington was part of the Focused Deterrence Program earlier this year and has not followed up with any of the resources offered.

No one was hurt during the incident.
