Motorcyclist dies after Sunday morning crash

TRENTON, N.C. (WNCT) — N.C. Highway Patrol says a man died after he was tossed from his motorcycle Sunday morning.

Trooper Steven Heath says David Moore, 42, was driving on Curtis Road when he was ejected from his bike. The accident happened around 9:20 a.m.. Moore died at the scene of the crash.

The portion of the road where the accident happened is a dead end. Heath says he believes Moore was unaware that the road was ending. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
