Police: Man faces charges for shooting at Tarboro Waffle House

TARBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – The Tarboro Police Department makes an arrest in a July shooting at the Waffle House.

Police say with the help of the Drug Enforcement Agent Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Taiwan Pettaway was arrested on July 8th.


Pettaway faces multiple felonies including Attempted First Degree Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Investigators say the charges stem from a July 5th shooting at the Waffle House in Tarboro.

Pettaway was taken to the Edgecombe County Detention Center and given a $150,000 bond.
