Ayden’s Caleb Avery set for World Cornhole Championships

GREENVILLE (WNCT) – To many it’s a recreational hobby. To Caleb Avery, it’s a competitive sport. And Avery is a week away from the “Super Bowl” of cornhole.

Avery, the eighth-ranked cornhole player in the country, is set to compete next week in The American Cornhole Organization (ACO), World Cornhole Singles Championship.

The 18-year-old will play a final tune-up in Washington this weekend before hitting the road for Knoxville, Tenn.

WNCT’s Patrick Quinn will have more on this story in the coming days on WNCT.
