Planets, moon, and star in the western evening sky over the weekend

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Look up to the sky the next few nights!

After sunset Saturday, June 20, 2015 and Sunday, June 21, 2015, the moon, the planets Jupiter and Venus, and the start Regulus will light up the western sky.

Be sure to look west right after sunset (sunset is at 8:28pm in Greenville) because the two planets and Regulus will fall below the horizon later in the evening.

The star Regulus is sometimes called the Heart of the Lion in the constellation Leo.
