3 charged in Duplin Co. with selling drugs

KENANSVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Three people are behind bars for the sale of illegal drugs in Duplin County.

Deputies say they arrested the trio after executing a search warrant at a residence located on W. Best Road in Kenansville. They also seized 33 grams of cocaine with a street value of approximately $3,500, 2 ½ lbs. of marijuana with a street value of approximately $25,000, $1,400 in currency.

30-year-old Jonathan Edward Kennion, of Warsaw, 29-year-old Jimmie Terrell Miller, also of Warsaw, and 31-year-old Robert James Miller, Jr., of Kenansville, were each charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, possession of a Schedule II & VI controlled substance, manufacturing a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of manufacturing a controlled substance, and possession with intent to manufacture/sell/or distribute marijuana, all felony counts. Each was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were placed in the Duplin County Jail under a $200,000 secured bond.
