RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) – North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory signed 16 bills into law on Friday.
One of the bills makes several changes to the ABC Commission.
Under the new law, craft distilleries would be able to sell a bottle of alcohol at the distillery for people to take home with them. A person would only be allowed to by one bottle per year.
It also bans powdered alcohol before the controversial “Palcohol” product even hits shelves.
There are also new laws related to the State Health Plan and an order against sex offenders.
