TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – On Thursday morning workers at a Dunkin’ Donuts say a record was beat at their restaurant.
They say close to 50 people kept up a ‘Pay it Forward’ streak while going through the drive-thru on Hoosick Street. Employees say that a woman paid for the driver behind her at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning, which started a chain reaction.
Workers at the restaurant say their customers pay it forward quite often, but the streak has never lasted this long. They say usually there will be three or four people that do it occasionally. This time, nearly 50 customers kept it going for at least an hour and everyone was happy.
The employees at Dunkin’ Donuts say it shows there are still good people, doing good in the world.
