Greenville bank robbery suspect in custody

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville police arrested a man they say robbed the Southern Bank on Charles Boulevard just before noon Monday.

They arrested 39-year-old Robert Grilli, a man who is known to frequently panhandle in the area of 264 near North Campus Crossing. He’s facing a charge of Common Law Robbery.

Police found Grilli on Tuesday evening at the Reedy Branch Apartment Complex.

The North Carolina Bankers Association offered a reward for information that leaded to an arrest.
