Belhaven mayor completes 2nd walk to Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON (WNCT) – Belhaven’s mayor, Adam O’Neal, completed his walk to save rural hospitals with a rally at the nation’s capital Monday.

O’Neal reports over 280 hospitals could close down around the country.

He’s been spurred on following last year’s closing of Vidant Pungo Hospital, which he says has left his town without the proper care people need.
