Morning accident in Duplin Co. partially shuts down highway

KENANSVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A car accident shuts down part of a Duplin County highway Friday morning.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol Communications Center tells 9 On Your Side troopers were dispatched to NC 11 S near Sarecta Road in Kenansville just after 3:30 a.m. on Friday.

The northbound lanes of NC 11 S are closed at this time.

Troopers are on scene conducting their investigation.
