GPD identifies suspect in 20+ car break-ins

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Detectives arrested a man who could be connected with more than twenty break-ins.

Around 5:45 Monday morning, two witnesses saw a male running towards 14th Street in Greenville carrying a dark bag. The witnesses chased the suspect to his residence and called police.

Several items were taken from his home and detectives are continuing to do inventory.

Police identified the suspect as 42-year-old Randal Potter.
