Onslow County commissioners voted to formally support Governor Pat McCrory’s transportation and infrastructure plan.
At Monday meeting, members unanimously voted to issue a support for the bond initiative known as Connect NC. It could cost taxpayers $3 billion dollars to fund a string of projects across the state for much need improvements.

State lawmakers have yet to accept the bond referendum. They have until the end of June to decide if it could appear on November’s ballot.
