Multiple people are on the run after a high speed crash in New Bern.

Police say it happened before 2:30 Thursday morning in front of the Biblical House of God Church in the 900 block of George Street.
Officers say the car was traveling over 60 miles an hour when it entered a curve, rolled over and struck a light pole, before hitting a cinder block wall of the church parking lot.
Police have Amanda Erckson, one of the passengers in custody. She’s charged with obstruction of justice after refusing to identify the driver of the car.
Authorities are currently looking for the driver and at least one other passenger.

Anyone with information on this accident is asked to contact the New Bern Police Department or Craven County Crimestoppers at (252) 633-5141.

Police estimate the accident caused more than $60,000 in damages to the car, wall, and light pole.
