The Marine Corps has identified six Marines killed in a helicopter crash in Nepal. The Marine Corps Times says two pilots, two crew chiefs, a combat photographer and a combat videographer were among eight people killed during a humanitarian mission.

The six Marines killed in the crash were Capt. Dustin R. Lukasiewicz; Capt. Christopher L. Norgren; Sgt. Ward M. Johnson IV; Sgt. Eric M. Seaman; Cpl. Sara A. Medina; and Lance Cpl. Jacob A. Hug.

Two Nepalese soldiers were also killed in the crash. They have been identified as Tapendra Rawal and Basanta Titara.

The squadron that the marines belonged to is based out of Camp Pendleton, California.
