The Greenville homeless shelter is in need of monetary donations for extra beds.
The shelter is getting a new location on the current property in the upcoming weeks. The new building will house over 100 people compared to the current 78.
The new 15,000 square foot facility will have a kitchen, living space, and private rooms for families.
“It says something to the homeless people that, hey, this is what we think of you,” explained Robert Williams, executive director. “We value you. We want to help you. We want to get you back on your feet, all those things.”
Williams says donations funded the new facility, but they still need more.
