The Greenville Police Department and Police Community Relations Committee are hosting a night of talks and tips on how to keep thieves from stealing your identity.
Tuesday night’s discussion is called “Identity Theft – How to Protect Yourself”.
Greenville residents can hear about current scams, and what to do if you are a victim of identity theft.
“We’re going to talk about what to do to prevent being a victim,” said Lt. Carlton Williams, the speaker at Tuesday night’s event. “Talk about some of those common scams that caused you to be victimized and we’ll talk about what to do if you have been a victim and ways to protect your good name.”
The discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Drew Steele Center on Elm Street.
