An open house Friday showed off the new Greenville-Pitt Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The new center is located in Uptown district’s Superblock on Cotanche Street.
The bureau provides services for meetings, events, and visitors in Greenville.
The new building is equipped with everything you would need to learn more about the Greenville-Pitt County area.

“This would help because when you try to develop an uptown area or an urban core are,” explained Andrew Schmidt. “You need a place where people can go to find their choices, so I think this would be an education city for those who come from out of town so that they can learn more about the area.”

The center is working to bring good experiences to everyone who travels to the area.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 until 5.
