East Carolina’s baseball team played host to the Exceptional Community Baseball League Sunday afternoon at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
The ECBL is a league for special needs children and adults. Each season the Pirates host the league for a special exhibition game.
“I know our players really enjoyed it,” said Pirate coach Cliff Godwin. “You can see it on their faces.”
The ECBL plays games during the regular season at the Sarah Vaughn Field of Dreams at Elm Street Park. The season runs from the last week of March through the second week of June.
